Kindly refer to this office Memo No. DEO/UT/E-5/2020/23518 dated 18.09.2020, Deo/UT/E-S/2020/23661 dated 25.09.2020, DEO/UT/E-5/2020/24517-18 dated 26.10.2020 and DEO/UT/E-S/2020/25474-75 dated 28.10.2020 on the subject noted above.
MHA-Govt. of India wide order dated 30.09.2020 issued guidelines for reopening of schools after 15.10.2020 in a graded manner and SOP/Guldelines for reopening of schools were lssued by Ministry of Education- Govt. of Indla in October 2020. Further, guidelines were lsued by MHA-G0i vide order dated 25.11.2020. On the basis of details mentioned in the i above guidelines and after consultation with the stake holders, it has been decided that:-
1. Students of Class Vi to ill can attend dasses in the schools from 01.02.2021. However, classes for Class IX to Xll will continue as per existing practice fl 31.01.2021.
2. Guidelines mentioned in MHA order dated 30.09.2020, 25.11.2020 and SOP issued by MoE-GOl in October, 2020 is to be stricly followed by all schools, incuding the following conditions:-
Online/distance learning shall continue.
Students may attend schools/institutions only with the written consent of parents (In the beginning)
Attendance must not be enforced and must depend entirely on parental consent.
3. All schools will follow the guidelines as mentioned above and SoP’s issued by MoE. i MoHFW-Govt. of India from time to time.
4. Online or distance learning should continue as per previous practice.
5. Head of the Institution will be responsible for maintaining social distancing and other norms circulated by Chandigarh Administration and GOI from time to time.
6. School timings for Government/Govt. Alded schools from 01.02.2021 will be as undere:-
- School Timing for Teachers & other Stalf-8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
- School Timing for Students-9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (All Classes i.e. Vi-X1)
- Prior Permission of DEO is to be taken in case students are to be called in different shifts/slots in schools.
7. Private recognized schools can adapt/circulate these instructions w.r.t. to timing i etc. as per their own circumstances.
